Different clocks may exist
A reporting step, a benefit application, a court claim and a response to an offer are different tasks. Writing down a date here does not determine the legal deadline for any of them. The date selector is used only to display official provincial context.
Avoid a universal countdown
The Alberta Court of Justice’s public guidance says limitation periods can be complex and recommends consulting a lawyer when in doubt. A single national two-year timer would conceal exceptions, different processes and facts. This site does not calculate one.
Keep a private timeline
Record the event date, when information was received, any letter dates and the source of a stated deadline. Ask a qualified professional to identify the applicable rule and action. Do not wait for a reply from the site team if a deadline may be near.
Submission changes nothing legally
A downloaded result, a saved local scenario and a message to this website do not file a claim, notify an insurer, retain a lawyer or suspend a deadline. Use the official process and appropriate professional advice for those steps.
