The worksheet library
Every dollar has a source.
The method is the inputs and arithmetic you can see.
Past income
Weekly amount × entered weeks. The tool does not decide the appropriate gross or net basis or whether the period or amount is recoverable.
Past expenses
Your entered subtotal is added once. Benefits and reimbursements remain separate questions for review. No legal offset is assumed.
Future costs
For month m, the payment is monthly amount × (1 + annual price growth / 100)^((m − 1) / 12). Present value divides that payment by (1 + annual discount / 100)^(m / 12). The tool adds all monthly payments, up to 600 months. It shows nominal and present-value totals separately.
Financial-impact total
Past income amount + past expenses + present-value future costs. Currency labels are CAD; displayed totals round to whole dollars. The private download includes cents. Empty financial categories count as zero in the arithmetic.
Offer worksheet
Remaining amount = gross amount − (gross amount × entered percentage / 100) − entered other deductions. A negative result is displayed. The tool does not infer taxes, benefit repayment, fee agreements or an acceptance decision.
Defaults and limits
Financial amounts begin blank. Growth, discount and the offer percentage begin at zero. Duration is your entry. Caps on inputs are technical worksheet limits, not legal caps. The tool rejects negative, non-finite and out-of-range inputs.
Unvalued questions
Pain and suffering, impairment, eligibility, responsibility, legal recoverability, policy coverage, offsets, tax and professional fees are not valued by the impact worksheet. The provincial panel links to context; it does not decide your rights.
Your control
No financial entries are saved to browser storage or transmitted with a site enquiry. The download is generated locally. First-visit URL and campaign attribution may be kept for a site enquiry; see the privacy page.
